However that salon doesn't offer eyebrow threading, and I had always wanted to try it. I had Shailyn and she was fantastic! Having never had threading or henna done on my eyebrows before. Holly, Alyssa and Beth do the BEST WORK and I highly recommend them to anyone. The entire team at Beautique is so fabulous and extremely helpful. I was so pleased with the service I received from Beautique Salon. They carry the best products, have a wide variety of services, the salon is three floors and absolutely gorgeous. Also, for anyone worried about parking there is a huge free parking lot that has plenty of parking, which makes getting to and from my appointments a breeze. I always look forward to going back and always leaving the salon feeling amazing!

I would like to give a personal shout out to stylist Devon! Not only is she extremely talented, she is kind and made sure I felt comfortable during my visit. When I mentioned I was feeling hot, she immediately offered to grab me a cape to wear with short sleeves as I was wearing a heavy sweatshirt. She also took the extra time to take photos of my finished hair on my phone. I absolutely love the balayage she did today and it was exactly what I was hoping for. I arrived a bit early and the woman at the front desk whose name I did not catch informed me that Beth was running a few minutes behind which was no problem. The salon itself is so bright and welcoming. Beth did my wax and was very professional. She immediately apologized for running behind and brought me right upstairs. She was quick, efficient and did a great job. The warm towel that was offered afterward was such a nice touch! I always get nervous trying new places, especially for waxes, but I will definitely be back! I was a European Wax Center regular until I moved to Newburyport, but I’m happy to be supporting a local business in my community.

A few items I noticed during my first time here of the overall space: The consent could not be printed prior to arrival at the desk & 5 minutes was spent with the technician reading it to me. It was awkward and a misuse of time. If it could be sent electronically prior to the appointment my text or email or on an iPad onsite that would be helpful. The space upstairs on a 34 degree days was a bit chilly & toward the end of the appointment it became uncomfortable. The technician herself even said she was cold. Upon checking out, the staff member at the desk was eating from a to go container. I told her to take her time, but honestly a break should be provided & not in front of customers.

When I booked the appointment online, it stated that if you added microdermabrasion to a facial, it would an extra $50, so I was under the impression when I checked out it would be $160 or so. However, the facial was amazing. Hahn is very knowledgeable and it was one of the best facials I’ve ever had!! Prices were higher than expected but sometimes it doesn’t matter when you want clear skin! I will definitely be back!!!

Susan S.2020 has been quite a challenge for me, with the COVID-19 pandemic not making things any easier! In January I had a spinal fusion, in May I suffered a bad fall and broke my right ankle and fractured my fibula bone in lower right leg, and in October I had a total hip replacement on the left! My CNA at AJH had the most beautiful eye lashes and I asked her about them. She told me about the Beautique Salon and Spa in Newburyport and I decided right then and there I needed a day of pampering! I made an appt with Hanh for a lash extension and brow tint, and I couldn't believe the transformation. I am very pleased with the excellent work that she did and can't wait to go back. Kristina P.After moving up to Newbury from living in Somerville for 10 years, I still drove down for my haircuts for 3 years because I loved my hairdresser. When he left the salon for a different career, I needed to find a new salon closer to home. I delayed a long time because I was used to getting my hair cut in the city and was nervous about trying someone new. I took a chance at Beautique and LOVED IT. Lindsey did a fabulous job with my haircut and was so fun to talk to. She asked a lot of questions to figure out exactly what I wanted and was so friendly and really made me feel comfortable the minute I sat down. Shailyn did my eyebrows and she also did a great job. I experienced a lot less discomfort than other places I’ve had my brows waxed. I was at the salon during the COVID19 pandemic but I felt safe the entire time. All staff was complying with safety measures and wearing masks correctly. The salon was beautiful and very clean. I’m so happy I’ve found my new place! If you’re in need of a new salon and anxious about it, definitely try Beautique!

Lesley asked a lot of questions was careful how she trimmed my hair knowing I was trying to grow out the bad cut. I liked that the stylists were not yelling back and forth talking to each other over the sounds of blow drying as I have experienced elsewhere. A spa atmosphere should be as restful and relaxing as possible, not full of conversations battling against the sounds of blow dryers. I stepped out of the salon looking great and feeling relaxed, and with an appointment booked for my next visit.

Tammy did not listen to Emily as far as what she wanted done. It caused great stress on a very special day. My hair was already falling out by the time I was getting my make up done. Tammy was very sweet with me but not patient with Emily. Tammy was late to the appointment start time as well . On a bride’s special day you shouldn’t treat a customer in the way that Tammy treated Emily. She was condescending and short with her. She did end up taking down the first updo ( once I insisted) as it was not what Emily had requested. She showed her three specific pictures and the product did not look like any of them! The final result was excellent but the attitude unforgivable. We loved our Make up artists! Real jems, sweet natured & very skillful.

I was a bit thrown off when I arrived 5-10 mins before my appointment time, to an empty room and no front desk reception. I thought I was in the wrong location. I tried calling 2x and only got a voicemail. The therapist arrived, didn’t greet me and almost walked right past me. I initally got a weird feeling because things didn’t start off that great. I did enjoy my massage therapist Katie. It was clear she had experience and was very skilled. I was surprised of the lack of the interpersonal skills before and after my massage. I was not greeted at the end after my massage the therapist left and I didn’t get to give her a tip personally. I wasn’t clear who to pay for my massage. At this time three women who seemed to be employees were behind and near the desk chatting. I waited and finally was able to pay and leave. I would only recommend that costumer service be a priority, answering phones during business hours and being clear as to who to pay in the end.

First, Leah did an amazing job on my brows! I'm very picky about who I let touch my brows as a lot of people usually shape them too thin and it makes my face look funny. Not Leah! She knew how to work with their natural shape and did an amazing job of keeping their thickness! Second, Lindsey's work on my hair was amazing! She listened to what I wanted and did exactly that! My hair looked healthier than when I walked in the door. All of my friends commented on how gorgeous my hair looked after my cut and blow dry! And she was so fast! I got a trim and a blow dry and was in and out in 30 minutes! Which is amazing because I went during my work day and was able to get back to work in no time! All of the staff were super friendly and made the transition to a new place very easy! I will definitely be back for more services! I highly recommend Beautique!

I came in with overly dry and damaged skin and left feeling clear, soft and hydrated - I even got a mask to take home! I have already recommended Beautique to family and friends.

Jackie F.I thought Tammy did a perfect job trimming my hair. She was able to keep the length while adding nice layers. I was also impressed with how quickly she blow-dried it while still making it look great. The salon is beautifully decorated and has a very nice atmosphere. I will absolutely be back!

Susan O.I am new to the area and heard from several locals that Tammy was the best. They were right! Tammy listened to what I wanted and then made some great suggestions as well. My foil and cut looks great. She is professional, friendly and very talented. I would not hesitate to go back. I will be returning to the spa to see Raena for skin care and brows later in the week.

Kathie W.This was my first visit to your Salon and it will not be my last. Your salon if warm and inviting and ach staff member I interacted with was pleasant and attentive. Tammy was a gem, I told her that I needed a "new look" and she showed me several photos (on her phone). It was obvious that she really listened to me because she brought up a picture of just what I was looking for, and when she completed the cut and blow out I was very pleased with the result.
