We advise gently but thoroughly scrubbing your entire body with an oil-free exfoliant the night before or the morning of your scheduled spray tan appointment. This crucial step removes dead skin cells, creating a smooth canvas for the tanning solution to adhere to evenly, preventing any patchy areas.
‘On the day of your tan, please avoid applying any lotions, moisturizers, deodorants, perfumes, or makeup to your skin, as these can create a barrier and affect the tan’s development. For your comfort and to prevent any transfer, we recommend wearing loose-fitting, dark clothing to your appointment.
Wait at least 8 hours before your first rinse—or follow your esthetician’s instructions for an Express Tan. Use only water for the first rinse, no soap. Avoid scrubbing or exfoliating too soon.
